The Intention

Marigolds and candles arranged on a family altar

Join us for Día de Muertos across Mexico City and Oaxaca, where ancient ritual pulses beneath modernist boulevards, and comparsas fill the streets with copal and candlelight.

From Templo Mayor’s sacred architecture to Teotitlán’s ancestral looms and the smoke of Mixe cuisine, every step moves through a civilisation that never separated life from art, or memory from eternity.

We travel in a group of twelve, hosted throughout by a Mexican curator. Each day carries one intention rather than a list, and each afternoon leaves an open window: time to rest, wander, or simply let what you have witnessed settle.

This is travel as communion.

II.

From Mexico City to Oaxaca City.

A route shaped to move from urban historical framing into a more immediate communal intensity. The transition itself is part of the experience.

III.

Eight days, held at the pace of remembrance.

A directional shape rather than a fixed programme. Timings, places, and hosts are still being arranged for this edition, and the detail below shows how the days are intended to move rather than what is confirmed.

IV.

Curated together, by two Mexican creators.
